MessageHandler is a set of libraries that help dotnet developers build complex, but robust, distributed systems on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Our design approach is based on the assumption that, in distributed systems, the nature of information flow is more important than the structure of the data itself. Patterns of information flow are often referred to as messaging.
Cloud environments, such as the Microsoft Azure platform, impose additional challenges to distributed systems that might not be present in self-hosted environments. These challenges range from lack of transaction support, to quota and throttling, over security, partitioning and latency.
The MessageHandler libraries have been specifically designed to build distributed systems based on messaging patterns, taking into account specific challenges imposed by the Microsoft Azure platform.
